The 2008 Get Reel! Teen Film Festival was a great success! This festival is an annual film competition for Fresno County teens, ages 13-19. The Fresno County Public Library and the Educational Employees Credit Union have joined together to promote and recognize young local filmmakers, and to put their films on the big screen. All films that met the guidelines were shown in a public viewing, and the winning films from each category earned prizes and were shown at the Tower Theatre in Fresno's famous Tower District. The next Get Reel! competition will be held in Fall 2009.
